Pastor Rick Minett has been the Senior Pastor of Grace Community since 1984. His full-time pastoral ministry began in 1975 when he worked on the staff of a large church in Florida, serving as their youth and associate pastor for three years. Over the next seven years, he then served on the staff of two other large churches (one in Ohio and one is Texas) prior to becoming the Senior Pastor here at Grace Community.
Pastor Rick accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of eleven. He attended a small Bible College (Christian College of America) and graduated with a B.S. degree in Psychology and Counseling and then earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Houston Graduate School of Theology. He has served on the advisory board of several ministries and was a member of the Executive Committee for the Billy Graham Association (Gulf-Coast Crusade). Furthermore, Pastor Rick has been actively involved in the ecumenical “Houston Emmaus” renewal weekends since 1982 serving numerous times as “Spiritual Director.” |
